Color Seminar Series

Color Innovations, Tools and Techniques
Macworld Expo (Booth 1947), San Francisco, Calif. - January 6, 1998 Pantone, Inc., and Apple Computer Inc. today announced that their Expand Your Color Universe Worldwide Tour 1998 will kick off on January 29th in Montreal, Canada. Major influencers in the color market have joined Pantone and Apple as sponsors of the seminar, including Agfa, Color Solutions, DuPont, PhotoDisc, Inc., Hewlett-Packard, Eastman Kodak Company, Mohawk Paper Mills, Inc., Nikon, Inc., X-Rite and others. The series of seminars are free, half-day, intensive educational sessions, offering creative and production professionals instruction and tips on how to incorporate the newest and hottest color tools and techniques into their work. A total of 28 seminars are planned with locations throughout North America, Asia and Europe. Electronic color expert Michael Kieran, president of DPA Communications, a training and consulting firm based in Toronto, Canada will lead the World Tour seminar series. Kieran has authored a number of books on color and is a contributing editor for Publish, Graphic Monthly and Applied Arts magazines. Kieran provides consulting on color technology and strategic planning for a number of major computer software and hardware manufacturers. More than 15,000 people have attended his one-day seminars on color scanning, color printing, color correction and color management systems.
